CHONG Ken Huat is an engineer of Oil & Gas firm (Technip Geoproduction Malaysia Sdn Bhd). His son diagnosed Type 1 diabetes in early year 2015.
Like many other T1D’s parents, CHONG learned everything about diabetes care from carbs calc, MDI, insulin pump, CGM, sickness management, etc. He is good in computer knowledge and setup his “Remote Glucose Monitoring system” through knowledge leaned from internet.
Chong is an administrator of Facebook group “Malaysia T1D’s Parent Support Group”, a platform for parent to share experience/information and support each other.
