Dr.Yeow is a consultant endocrinologist and Associate Professor of Medicine at Penang Medical College (PMC). She graduated from Trinity College Dublin and completed her postgraduate training in Diabetes and Endocrinology in UK in 2007. She has worked in the field of Diabetes & Endocrinology in Ireland, United Kingdom and Malaysia. She was involved in international postgraduate diabetes education with the educational department of Steno Diabetes Centre Denmark from 2013-2015. She currently holds an academic position with Penang Medical College and practices clinically in Penang General Hospital and Loh Guan Lye Specialist Centre. Her clinical and research interest is in diabetes, especially type 1 and early onset type 2 diabetes mellitus. She firmly believes in empowering patients and health care providers through effective education.
